When is a duck not a duck? It quacks like a duck....but its just a mobile phone ringtone during a President Obama speech.

Message to all journos - turn off your mobile when the President of the United States is giving a speech. Nice to see him take a little swipe at the media in a light hearted way.

But even after the duck distraction, he gets straight back on message.

I call myself a realist and i want to tell it like it is. Somebody has to speak the truth. Because seriously, what a selfish bunch of insular tools we have become in today's dreamy Australia.

Maybe we arent so different to the rest of the world. And maybe it was always this way.
