Kevin Bloody Andrews to Lead the Liberal Party? Lego Sales Set to Rise

What are the chances that the leaders of the two biggest political parties in Australia would be called Kevin? Seems they are getting stronger. The member for Menzies and former Immigration Minister, Kevin Andrews has declared that he wants Malcolm Turnbull's job. So unhappy is he with the ETS, he's looking for a spill.

Ive not much time for Turnbull, but putting the Lego man in charge? You would have to be joking. This man has no personality. He is a hard line Catholic conservative. And he bungled the Mohammed Haneef affair - in a big way.

Making Andrews the leader would be a godsend to Labor. Do the Liberals not get it? You cant run a political campaign with someone who sounds like he just had a lobotomy. Its not going to work.

But thats ok. Ive enjoyed watching the Liberals implode. Its good sport.

Im not a right wing nut job, far from it. I just believe that the world doesnt owe you a living, you make your own luck (was that Kevin Rudd?) and if you work hard you can succeed.

Thats not to say that we shouldnt help those who cant help themselves. I have a firm belief in giving a helping hand up to those who genuinely need it. (please give generously to my linked charities)

I call myself a realist and i want to tell it like it is. Somebody has to speak the truth. Because seriously, what a selfish bunch of insular tools we have become in today's dreamy Australia.

Maybe we arent so different to the rest of the world. And maybe it was always this way.

Anyway, until things change, i remain young and grumpy.
