Herald Sun Resident Gutter Scribe Sue Hewitt Strikes Again..

The Herald Sun's Sue Hewitt has again adopted the classic gutter entertainment reporter tradition of just making up stories if you don't have any real news. Today, she's trying to draw a very long bow indeed to connect the death of Maria Korp to that of Herman Rockefeller.

So whats the link between the two cases? Not that they were both swingers? No, that doesn't suggest any real link, its a coincidence.

The link, according to Hewitt is because that the lovers in the Korp case used to visit Heathcote. And police were searching land near Heathcote in relation to the Rockefeller murder. How the hell is that a link? Or is there something you aren't telling us Sue?

"Maria Korp twist in case. The murder of businessman Herman Rockefeller has a curious link to the "body-in-boot" case. The lovers who left Maria Korp to die in a car boot in 2005 met secretly in the central Victorian town Heathcote, where police searched for Mr Rockefeller's body. Police spent hours combing isolated bushland on the outskirts of Heathcote on Friday and invoked the Coroner's Act to lock out intruders."

The story goes on to give a basic summary of the Korp murder case. Well thanks very much Sue.
Does Sue Hewitt know more about swinging than she is letting on? Or is there indeed a connection between Sue Hewitt, Herman Rockefeller and Maria Korp? Maybe Hewitt has been to Heathcote before. That's enough evidence of a link for me.

Ive never been to Heathcote so i think I'm in the clear. No connection here. Although i have tasted some nice wines from the region so you cant be too sure.

The whole swinger connection is just a reason to use peoples sex lives to sell news again. Get this.....this guy is murdered by this couple.....they are caught.....and have confessed.......they have found the remains of his body. Thats it...the crime is murder.....and it has been turned into a story about his sex life. His sex life is not the issue.......a man was murdered....it makes no difference how he met the couple......or what activities he was involved in.....I can understand the investigation into his swinging activities if they had not found out what had happened to him....and were still looking for him.......but they found him.......dead....and found his killers......they have confessed.....and they have the body. So why is there this ongoing investigation about his sex life. I think this society enjoys interfering and reporting on peoples sex lives and sees that as more important then murder. I personally think that reporting on a persons sex life in the media....should be totally and completely banned and have compulsory jail sentences for doing so. I like the way the newspapers try to create a sinister story by using words like...."underground swingers network"........underground......you mean like swingers sites in the internet that anyone can look at and put an ad on......and some are even advertised on TV.....the fact that there are many of these sites.....with tens of thousands of profiles in each......as will as many magazines swingers clubs and parties scattered throughout every city......means what.....it is not underground.....it's practically mainstream. Time people grew up and started realising that things like swinging.....group sex...etc..are engaged in by hundreds of thousands of couples and singles. There is no story here.

Yeah, and I bet they both went to Chadstone Shopping Centre or waited for a friend of the steps of Flinders St Station. Afterall, they are from the same city!!! Herald Sun hacks.

What does sex have to do with murder? What's that old saying? Make love not war? Doesn't that suggest the two are unrelated. I couldn't give a toss what people do with their bodies. I certainly hope no one gives a toss what I do with mine.

About Just Grumpy

Im not a right wing nut job, far from it. I just believe that the world doesnt owe you a living, you make your own luck (was that Kevin Rudd?) and if you work hard you can succeed.

Thats not to say that we shouldnt help those who cant help themselves. I have a firm belief in giving a helping hand up to those who genuinely need it. (please give generously to my linked charities)

I call myself a realist and i want to tell it like it is. Somebody has to speak the truth. Because seriously, what a selfish bunch of insular tools we have become in today's dreamy Australia.

Maybe we arent so different to the rest of the world. And maybe it was always this way.

Anyway, until things change, i remain young and grumpy.
