What is Australia's slowest loading website? I'm sure there are plenty out there that we use every day which frustrate us no end. Of course some of it may depend on where you are located and what type of connection you have. But mostly its because the company in question probably hasn't invested in the right infrastructure. God knows why.
The worst in my opinion is anything Telstra Bigpond related. I cant say that i have a great need to use them for the most part. But come AFL season time, afl.com.au is in fact a Bigpond site. Apparently they pay the AFL millions every year for the right to host exclusive match day material. At times its unworkable. I suppose at the very least the extra cash they pay the AFL helps to pay for exorbitant salaries and in turn certain residences in Italy. Another story.
Second on my list is Drive.com.au, a Fairfax powered car sales website. Like much offered by the Fairfax crew these days, next to useless. Its little wonder carsales.com.au are doing a ripping trade. Apart from a couple of minor issues, their site works.
Another on my radar includes anything powered by Vodafone, which are not just slow, they don't work half the time. Not much different to their mobile phone network. Staggering really that the three i mention are telecommunication and media companies.
